Definitely Code Geass! It has strategic battles, a morally grey protagonist, and tons of plot twists. The stakes are always incredibly high!
Parasyte: The Maxim has great action and a compelling story with high stakes, focusing on humanity's survival. It's a bit more horror-leaning but fantastic.
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood shares that epic journey, unraveling a huge conspiracy, and incredible action sequences. A must-watch if you haven't seen it!
Eighty-Six (86) has amazing mecha action, intense war drama, and explores deep themes. The world-building is really strong and the stakes are constantly elevated.
Vinland Saga for sure! While more historical, it's got brutal action, deep character arcs, and the struggle for survival in a harsh world. So good!
