Made in Abyss, hands down! The world is both beautiful and terrifying, and the lore is incredibly detailed. Prepare for an emotional rollercoaster. 😭
Berserk (the manga especially, but the 97 anime is good) has one of the most fleshed-out dark fantasy worlds ever created. It's a masterpiece.
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation has a fantastically detailed world and magic system. You really feel immersed in it!
Log Horizon! It's an Isekai, but it focuses heavily on the politics, economy, and world-building within the game world. Very unique.
