Definitely Black Clover! It has that epic feel and non-stop magic battles. Plus, the underdog protagonist is really inspiring. ✨
Fairy Tail might be too lighthearted, but it's pure magic and adventure. For something darker, try Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash, it's a bit more grounded but has a good magic system.
Mushoku Tensei! The world-building around magic is insane, and the main character's journey is epic. It starts a bit slow, but it gets really good.
Overlord! While the MC is OP, the world and its magic are fantastic. It's got that high-stakes feeling too, just from a different perspective.
