Loved Frieren's adventure and character depth, but sometimes wish it had a bit more action or epic battles. Any recommendations for an anime that balances great storytelling/world-building with some really cool fight scenes? Something with a similar fantasy vibe would be awesome!
Definitely check out Vinland Saga! It's super mature, great story, awesome action, and historical fantasy. Different vibe but high quality. 💪
Overlord! It's an Isekai, but the world-building is top-notch and Ainz is OP so you get plenty of action. Plus, it's pretty dark sometimes which is cool.
Mushoku Tensei if you want another great fantasy adventure with amazing world-building and some surprisingly good fight choreography when it happens. The magic system is really well done too.
How about Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash? It's a bit slower but super atmospheric, and the fights feel really desperate and impactful. More realistic fantasy. Might scratch that itch!
