I'm looking for some great anime that are relatively short (around 12-24 episodes) but still manage to tell a complete, satisfying story. I don't want something that feels rushed or ends on a cliffhanger for a second season that may never come. Any recommendations for compact, well-wrapped narratives?
"Erased" (Boku dake ga Inai Machi) is 12 episodes and a perfectly self-contained mystery thriller. Highly recommend!
"Devilman Crybaby" is 10 episodes, intense, and tells a full, devastating story. Be warned, it's very graphic but amazing.
"Puella Magi Madoka Magica" is 12 episodes and a fantastic deconstruction of the magical girl genre with a powerful ending.
"ID:Invaded" is a criminally underrated sci-fi mystery, 13 episodes, and wraps up its story beautifully. Super cool concept!
"Terror in Resonance" (Zankyou no Terror) is 11 episodes, a brilliant thriller with a strong message, and a complete narrative arc.
