The anime trope you secretly love, even if it's overused?

We all complain about tropes sometimes, but is there one that, despite its overuse, you still kinda enjoy? Maybe the dense protagonist, the childhood friend, or the power of friendship? For me, it's definitely the 'rival who becomes a friend' trope.

The 'power of friendship' trope! Yeah, it's cheesy, but when it's done right and actually earns that moment, it just hits different. Makes me feel warm inside. 🤗

I actually kinda love the 'protagonist wakes up in a different world/game' (isekai) trope. Sure, there are too many, but the escapism is real. ✨

The 'tsundere' character! They can be annoying at first, but seeing them slowly open up and show their softer side is always satisfying. Bakas! 😠❤️

That moment when the main character unleashes a hidden power they didn't know they had. So predictable, but always a thrill to watch!

The 'food-loving' character who can eat endless amounts. I just find it charming, especially when it's played for laughs. Looking at you, Luffy!
