Aizen clears this poll easily. The guy manipulated literally everyone in Soul Society for years without anybody noticing. Intelligence + power + presence = top tier villain.

Frieza is iconic but Aizen feels way more layered as a villain.
The confidence Aizen had during every fight was unmatched.
Aizen talking calmly while destroying captains was terrifying.
People sleeping on Frieza here is crazy. Without Frieza, anime villains wouldn’t even be the same. Dude traumatized an entire generation of Dragon Ball fans.
ohohohoho
"This isn’t even my final form” became legendary because of him
Frieza is the definition of evil. No tragic backstory, no “I’m misunderstood” nonsense. He was just straight-up ruthless.
Aizen wasn’t just strong, he psychologically destroyed people. That’s what made him dangerous compared to most anime villains.
Madara had the most aura out of everyone here. The moment he showed up and soloed the Shinobi Alliance changed Naruto forever.
Obito deserves more respect honestly. His story was tragic and his fall into darkness felt believable
Aizen winning this poll is deserved. Bro stopped Ichigo’s theme music with one finger 😭
Aizen is one of the few villains that actually made the heroes feel hopeless. Most anime villains lose because they underestimate the MC, but Aizen controlled everything.
That scene was pure disrespect.
Obito carried the Akatsuki storyline for years.
That’s honestly why he works so well.
His manipulation of Hinamori was brutal
Honestly this is one of the hardest anime villain polls I’ve seen. Every character here defined an era of anime.
We need more modern villains with this level of impact.
Villains like these are why older shonen hit different.
Even Urahara had trouble predicting him
Madara felt like the final boss Naruto was building toward for years. Everything about him screamed legendary
Aizen, no question. The ultimate schemer. Played everyone for centuries.
Frieza is the OG for a reason. Pure, unadulterated evil. No sob story, just wants to be on top. That's a true villain.
Madara's entrance into the war arc solidified him as the best. That guy just *exuded* power and confidence.
Obito's story arc is so tragic and compelling. He wasn't just evil, he was broken. Made him a much deeper villain IMO.
Hard to pick, but Madara's design and presence just scream 'final boss'.
