Definitely check out Re:Zero! It's an isekai but the MC is far from OP and faces real consequences. Super dark and psychological sometimes. 🤔
Log Horizon is great if you want world-building and strategy! It's more about how players adapt to living in a game world. Less fighting, more politics.
Konosuba! It's a parody of the genre and absolutely hilarious. The MC is useless, his party is dysfunctional, and it's pure comedy gold. 😂
Mushoku Tensei, while the MC is strong, focuses heavily on his growth and development from childhood. It's really well-written and visually stunning.
